Underwater photography is something incredibly special, and we love working with other studios to bring more people into this wonderful world. In 2022, XA traveled for a second time to Houston, Texas to photograph with the modeling team for Kelly Anne Style (KAS). We spent two days poolside working with each student, coaching them through poses and movements in shallow water while studio owner and photographer Kelly observed until she was comfortable taking the camera over herself. She gained hands-on experience for a completely new skill in a low-risk setting, and outside of the pool, even got a peek behind the curtain of the underwater world to see the reality of equipment, costs, and sales. She gave herself and her crew a unique experience while jumping feet first into a gorgeous new art.
